My period is 2 days late and i’m on birth control

My period is late, i’m having weird symptoms and i’m honestly freaking out. I’ve been on the xulane patch for almost three years and have used it consistently and never have missed changing my patch on time. I always take switch my patches on Monday’s and this week was the week where I was supposed to take it off and have my period. My period is like clockwork every month. I will take my patch off on a Monday and by Thursday, I am bleeding. However this month it’s Saturday and i’m two days late.

I’ve been sick the past two weeks with what I think/thought was a cold but this week a few days ago, i started having really intense migraines/headaches in the same spot that just isn’t going away. I have had very slight spotting that I can only see when I wipe and I have only seen the spotting a few times in the past few days. I can also feel a weird cramp like sensation in my stomach but it doesn’t feel like my normal period cramps, it’s barely present. Earlier today, when i used the restroom, I wiped and there was orange discharge!

I ended up just taking two pregnancy tests that both seem to be negative but I have also heard it’s best to take them in the morning. I’m really confused, it’s not like this for my bleeding to be this late and i’ve most certainly never had orange discharge before. Please help!
