Any1 help reduce my temps???
PC specs:
ryzen 9900x
3070
32gb ram
1000w psu
hyte y60 case (3 120 ll at top exaust, 1 at back exaust, 2 140 on side as intake and 2 120 at bottom intake)
corsair xc7 cpu block
corsair neo 360 tripple rad (ll 120 fans)
corsair xd5 pump/res combo
My water cooling loop I have had for about a week or 2, and the temps are not the best. idle on the CPU, it sits at 55- 64ish, with the coolant sitting at 35 Celsius. Under load, the CPU rockets up to low/high 80 on some games, and will thermal throttle if stress tested. I haven't encountered any negative performance, but most games I play are not CPU-bound; however, I don't like the temps being that high.
my 3 things i think that it is wrong
- The LL 120 fans are dookie when it comes to radiators, apparently with not enough static pressure (I used to have an aio similar to LL120 and the temps were like this but lower), may need to get different fans. Additionally, putting my hand on the other side of the rod feels like there is little to no air moving
- My CPU isn't getting the best contact? I never put any extra thermal paste on the CPU block, using only the pre-applied paste (not the best idea in hindsight). I don't think this is the case, as under review, all the cores are roughly the same temperature, with no significant hotspots. However this still could cause the effect
- Radiator positioning at the top, with hot air rising and being an exhaust, it is sucking through warm air, not aiding in this process.
- There are some bubbles on my pump still, but they don't look like the first time ones, and it's been a while, they almost look like evaporation or the water is getting too hot, kinda thing, like condensation on the pump but in a heat kind of way
If anyone has had this issue or knows of a solution, please let me know, thanks!!!
