(Post contains spoilers for Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator and The Owl House)

A Villain who the hero tries to reach out to and help them realize the error of their ways only to find out they are too far gone.

1. Esdeath (Akame Ga Kill) - Tatsumi using the fact that Esdeath has fallen head over heels for him tries to reach out to her only to find nothing. After hearing her backstory he realizes that Esdeath dosen't have a drop of humanity left. She was a sadistic killer long before she joined The Empire and instead of going insane she embraced her Teigu's power.

2. Orochimaru (Naruto) - In the past Jiraiya tried to stop Orochimaru from leaving Konoha behind but is unsuccessful and gives up on his former friend and teammate. He even tries to convince Naruto to give up on Sasuke when he notices a similar pattern.

3. William Afton (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator) - After way too long Henry finally uncovers the massive web of misery his former friend and business partner William has sewn and decides he has to stop William by any means necessary. He does this by gathering William and all the remaining lost souls trapping them in a giant labyrinth and burning it to the ground in an attempt to put an end to it all.

4. Odalia Blight (The Owl House) - After Alador sees the light and realizes the error of his ways Amity hopes that her Mom will be the same. Only for Odalia to reveal that she knew about the truth behind The Day of Unity and continues to help Belos because she was promised higher status showing no remorse for all the other Witches affected. This causes the Blights to immediately give up on her and disown her.

5. Aquamarine and "Eyeball" (Steven Universe Future) - And now for a more comedic example. Aquamarine and the "Eyeball" Ruby are the only villains who don't get some sort of redemption. Instead they despise Steven so much for what he did that they manage to fuse just in an attempt to kill him.
