is a hearing test safe?

Hello, I've had T for 5 yearsr but after medication in februari it became louder, a new tone appeared and im sensitive to loud noise. I believe it's mild hyperacusis.

Will a hearing test be safe? They play pure tones don't they? Are they not dangerous?
