Damaged passport please help!! Flying tomorrow

We took our passport out to pack for our trip and our chewed up my husband’s passport and the first few characters of the MRZ are damaged. The barcode is fully intact. Today is Saturday and we fly out tomorrow. We dont have time to visit the passport office (and I assume it’s closed), is there anything we can do? Please help
