Can PTH and calcium levels randomly normalize?
I finally got an appt with an endocrinologist surgeon who took repeat tests, and all of a sudden my calcium, PTH, and vitamin D are WNL. Just a few months ago my calcium and PTH were high, and I also have a 2 year history of high calcium levels (with a few normal draws in between- however PTH wasn’t tested at that point.) Now the surgeon doesn’t want to proceed with the 4D scan or surgery because everything appears “normal” now. What would you do if you were me? Should I push for an ultrasound at least? Thanks in advance!!
