AITAH for being upset that my fiance won’t come with me to view a car?
So I (20 F) drove 16 hours away to go live with my Fiance (22 M) and I ended up working at the same place as him so I sold my car as we benefited from the spare money at the time and having a secondary car payment when we’d drive together wasn’t necessary and the car also had some issues I didn’t want to continue dealing with. However, I ended up quitting as I really didn’t like the job and have been searching for a new car to make the possibility of getting a new job better as I’d have my own form of transportation.
I found a car on marketplace, which is where I always get my cars, and it’s an hour away. My fiance has been sleeping all day and doesn’t want to go on the hour drive to go see this car. This car is one of my favorite brands, and seems to function well according to the seller and isn’t crazy expensive. My fiance not wanting to come with me is upsetting me, because I feel like cars that work and aren’t crazy expensive are hard to come by these days, and the drive is only an hour. I told him I’d drive there and he could just sit in the passenger and not do anything, but I need someone to come with me because I obviously can’t drive two cars back home if I were to buy this new car. But he’s refusing because ‘an hour is too far’. He’s the only person I really know here, and I don’t want to miss this opportunity. AITAH for being upset by his lack of being there for me? Is an hour really too far to go for a car? The person who bought my old car traveled 3 hours and I personally think that is too far, but I don’t think an hour is too far at all.
