Reserve Recruiter Inconsistency – Can I Switch?

Hey,

I'm active duty and currently in the process of separating. I was curious if I'm able to do the following:

The reserve recruiter on base has been super inconsistent — made me redo a webinar I’d already completed, forgot appointments, and keeps changing his story. First he said I could go to any base with my AFSC, then backtracked in another appointment and said I’d need a manning overage request. He also offered IMA options, then later said there weren’t any. Now he’s pushing me to pick a far-away unit quickly, saying I’m not committed.

I’m considering reaching out to a different recruiter (there’s an office closer to me), but would that get me in trouble or be seen as going around the process? Just tired of the mixed messages and want a straight answer. Do I have to stick with my base's Reserve recruiter, or can I go elsewhere?
