With recent projections, no excuse to doubt Superman's success

This film cost about $225 million + marketing. But that large cost doesn't matter when it's currently projected to do $140-185m domestic opening.

Even with competition from JW and F4 I simply can't see a scenario where an opining this big wouldn't lead to making a ton of money. Even with horrendous legs it would probably be fine.

People who still think something opening like this will underperform need to throw out personal biases and look at this from an objective standpoint. A random redditor who doesn't care about Superman is in no way representative of the popularity of the hero.

This is Avatar syndrome... People keep trying to say Superman is no longer culturally relevant and they act shocked at these massive numbers, completely ignoring the fact that Superman has sold more comics than any hero ever. Like... This should not be surprising.
