Thinking of you, through the storm ❄️
He braved the night on mountain steep, While skies above refused to sleep, A veil of ice, the winds that cried, Yet love burned warm he held inside.
The snowflakes all around made him wish for a flame, But still he whispered out her name, With every step, a silent vow— “I’ll reach her heart, no matter how.”
His coat was torn, his fingers blue, But thoughts of her were pulling through, Her laughing eyes, her gentle smile, Made each cold mile feel so worthwhile.
A locket near his beating chest, Held all the dreams he once confessed, And in that storm, he saw her face— A guiding star, a saving grace.
He stumbled once, then rose again, Ignoring frost, dismissing pain, The world could freeze, the sky could fall— He'd fight through time to heed love's call.
And when he knocked with trembling hand, She opened wide and couldn’t stand. She caught him close, a breath, a sigh, Tears softer than the winter sky.
“I told you I would find my way,” He smiled, as night gave in to day, “For storms may howl and mountains move, But nothing stops a man in love.”
