RX 7600 + 144Hz Monitor: Stuttering visible in recordings despite 300+ FPS - FreeSync doesn't fix it
Anyone have ideas about what's causing this issue?
In the 60 FPS video below, you can see that when I move, objects (like walls) exhibit mini-stuttering or what looks like tearing. This is strange because I have a 144Hz monitor, but games feel like they're running at 60 FPS despite actually maintaining 300+ FPS.

I've tried enabling AMD FreeSync along with my Samsung Odyssey monitor's FreeSync Premium. While this stopped the image tearing, the movement stuttering persists across all games.
Important: This problem only occurs in games. Web scrolling and other applications work perfectly smooth.
System Specifications
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G (integrated graphics disabled in BIOS)
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600
- Monitor: Samsung Odyssey 144Hz
Note: I didn't reformat after installing the new GPU, only removed old drivers with DDU.
Current Driver Information
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600 (Primary/Discrete)
- VRAM: 8176 MB GDDR6 @ 2250 MHz
- Driver Version: 25.10.13.01-250526a-416003C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition
- AMD Windows Driver: 32.0.21013.1000
- Direct3D API: 12.2
- Vulkan API: 1.4.308
- OpenGL API: 4.6
- UI Version: 2025.0526.0334.2068
- Windows: 11 Professional 64-bit (24H2)
Current Settings
- fTPM: Disabled in BIOS
- FreeSync Premium: Disabled in both Adrenalin and monitor (enabling doesn't help)
Oddly enough, this stuttering/tearing is visible in recordings, which suggests it's not just a display issue.
Anyone have suggestions on what might be causing this and how to fix it?
