Missed Opportunities

Not sure if the crowd this is marketed to would be old enough to appreciate it but I feel like this show missed at least two funny opportunities. The first one is the Jaguar that Ryan Phillipe’s character has to restore. Would’ve been a lot funnier if it was a Jaguar XK140 like the one from his most famous role. I mean they were so close. Second, they do the whole backstory with the mom driving an RX-7 when she was their age. Why not make it a black and blue RX-8, like Neela drove in Tokyo Drift? Especially since Tokyo Drift came out 19 years ago and it would’ve fit the time frame almost perfectly.
