My fan theory for Friday the 13th and why Jason kills, am I way off base?

SpoilerDiscussion

I know this theory only works for the first 8 (Paramount) films.

Crazy Ralph and the truck driver were actually not wrong. The land Crystal Lake sits on is actually jinxed or cursed or whatever you wanna say about it. Possibly site of native American massacre. But there are angry spirits lying in wait for tragedy to drive them to kill out of vengeance.

Jason drowned in the spirits used Pamela Voorhees for her killing spree. These campers are invaders on their territory. Jason, who was actually dead and did drown, was brought back to life by the spirits of the lake. The spirits also rapidly aged him into adulthood. Jason is simple minded and all he seems to understand is that he came back to life when his mother went around killing people. Now she was dead. So he wants to kill people in hopes that the spirits will resurrect his mother. That’s why he made the shrine to her.

Jason was killed for the second time by Tommy Jarvis. When Roy Burns saw his son‘s dead body, the spirits sent him as their third slayer. But who they really wanted was Tommy Jarvis. Tommy like Jason lost his mother in a very violent manner. The spirits chose not to resurrect Roy and attempted to make Tommy their new killer. But he rejected the call of the spirits. And when he attempted to desecrate Jason‘s body, the spirits resurrected Jason as a zombie killing machine. Still trying to kill and create carnage in hopes that the spirit bring back his mother, Pamela. The spirits enjoy using Jason as this killing avatar.

Also, finally, since so, many of the films have dream endings, and we saw Rennie injected with drugs. It opened the possibility for something new: a hallucination ending. What she saw on the sewer I don’t believe actually happened. I think what really happened was. Jason was swept away by the water the sewer.

It all fits together pretty well until that damned Jason goes to hell movie with its worm monster and mythology of the Voorhees family.
