[Advice Wanted] Commuting between Shaker Heights and New Albany 4 days/week in an FSD Tesla

REQUEST

Hey everyone,

I’m considering a pretty ambitious commute and would love to hear from anyone who’s done it or is doing it now. Here’s my situation:

  • Home base: Shaker Heights (Cleveland area)
  • Work location: New Albany (Columbus area)
  • Schedule: Wednesdays–Saturdays, (so I’d drive out before each shift and back afterward)
  • Vehicle: Tesla Model 3 Long Range with Full Self-Driving
  • Charging: Free Level 2 chargers at work plus a Level 2 charger at home
  • Why I’m asking: I’m curious about the real world feasibility—range, fatigue, and daily grind—rather than the numbers.

Has anyone here commuted between clevelane and New Albany 4 days a week for work?

  • How did you handle the ~135-mile one-way drive?
  • Did FSD/autopilot make it manageable? IF you had a tesla
  • How did you structure your day for sleep and downtime?
  • Any unexpected challenges or tips you learned?

Would appreciate any firsthand experiences or advice on whether this is totally doable or if I’m setting myself up for burnout. Thanks!
