Taking lower year courses in upper years?

Hey guys just tying to avoid emailing an academic advisor and seeing if anyone here can help me instead. I’m a third year hons spec BHSc student, obviously Im taking all of my required courses but I have two spots open in each semester for elective courses. I’ve already met my breadth requirements. Is there any issue with taking a random first or second year course to fill the spaces and get the credit? I want to take some easy and enjoyable lower year classes so that I can excel in my requirements.
