Passport Dispatched Status For Almost 2 Weeks

I’m in a confusing situation here.

I applied for a Sweden e-visa from VFS UK on May 22nd. I did not require biometrics submission for I have done it in the past 59 months & could just mail in my passport. I did it on May 23rd, which was an entire issue on its own but they received my passport.

However, I didn’t receive any confirmation number or email until May 29th, where I received an email that my Application Form was ready and I could submit it on my dashboard. I did it the next day.

My passport was finally dispatched to the embassy on June 4th. I received a reference number, finally.

However, it’s been 11 days now… and my passport’s status is still “has been dispatched to the SMA for processing”. No update on whether it has been received in the SMA or not. Previously, I had always received notification when passport has been received in the embassy (when I applied visa through TLS & VFS in another country).

Should I be concerned? Where is my passport now? Is it lost?

Tried calling the call centre but they didn’t give a clear answer.

Tl;dr: Passport tracking status has been “dispatched to the SMA for processing” for 11 days, no update at all, should I be worried if its lost?
