does anyone else have extremely strict "dynamics" when they ship characters

i don't know how to describe it but like which character tops/bottoms is for whatever reason extremely sensitive for me and i don't really like switching. ive tried reading fics in my (relatively small) fandom where the power dynamic is flipped and its genuinely painful to read for me. im trying to overcome it because one of the most praised fics in the fandom is "flipped" dynamic wise, and i don't want to be limited from reading otherwise amazingly written fics for such a non issue. also sorry for the grammar :)
