Help with connecting a profile to wifi?

Let me start by saying I'm 41 years old, so I'm. not the greatest with this stuff. My wife can play Gran Turismo online. But I just got PGA 2k25 and when I turn the game on, I swap the user profile to mine, and I'm offline. She's online, i'm offline, we're still connected to wifi. Shouldn't She, I, and all the kids have the same internet access, barring child restrictions? I cannot seem to get connected. So every time I want to play, I have to go back through the tutorial, I can't gain experience points or play against people online, etc. I've done all the normal trouble shooting instructions, youtube videos, etc. Does anyone have any ideas?
