I’d gladly Empty my pockets right now…

First and only time I heard WILCO live was 2010 give or take a year (but that’s not the issue) at the University of Iowa Student Union. Already in my early 40s I thought “this new music is pretty damn good! This kids should hear this!” So I bought some CDs which I ripped to my laptop and have transferred with my library ever since.

Listening to A.M. tonight, which way produced in ‘95 when my daughter was born, 15 years before my first show, and it’s 2025 now, 15 years after my first show, and Jenny LSQ talks about them like they just hit the scene. I’d gladly empty my pockets right now…to be young again.
