Where all the young nudists are - a theory

I recently went back to Gunnison beach, and, while not my first time there, it was the first time since the official start of the season and the resumption of ferry and bus service to Sandy Hook. And, while there is this idea that nudists are all old people, I found a considerable amount of young people, both men and women, around my age (25), couples especially.

(Before I go further, I just wanted to say that for those who remember when I posted here about my last experience with Gunnison beach, it went much better, those creeps weren't there)

This obviously begs the question, if they are here out in force, why aren't they at any of the clubs? Why are clubs struggling to attract new members? What I came up with may offend some people, but I think it should still be said.

Nudism will continue. And it will thrive. But the old days of club-orientated nudism, where you have to be a card-carrying member and pay your dues, are coming to an end. Young people aren't turned off by nudism, they're turned off by the perceived exclusiveness of it. For nudism to continue, it must be made public.
