Bday dinner and drinks in soho

Hi friends. I’m moved here earlier this year and don’t really know many places. Already did my research here but still need some help.

My partner’s birthday is coming up in two months (yes, asking now because I understand the reservation thing here in nyc) and I’m planning to celebrate at le cou cou. Tablecloth is important for me so I don’t want to go clinton 63/altera this time. What do you guys think? We are in our early 30s.

After dinner I am not sure where to go for drinks. We like the vibes at sloane’s at the manner hotel (enough space between tables, nice vibes although food is not that good but food is not that important this time). What place would you recommend? Since I am new to the city it’s always been him bringing me to places so I really want to have a nice plan this time. I don’t mind refreshing everyday for making a reservation if the place is really nice and hard to walk in usually!
