Difficulty Troubleshooting HVAC on 2005 Jeep Liberty

I have been working on my wife’s 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 3.7L. After changing the heater core I was feeling pretty excited that there was no longer steam coming through the vents, but a new issue of no AC and air is only blowing through the vent at the windshield.

After reading a few blogs and watching some YouTube videos I replaced the blender door actuator and the blower motor resistor. Finally recharged the refrigerant.

After everything the mode doors still aren’t working and it continues to only blow warm and hot air at the windshield.

When the AC is turned on warm air is blowing. The AC compressor clicks on for about 10 seconds at a time, seems like it is functioning like it’s supposed to. The refrigerant gauge shows the pressure drop when it does come on, and then pressure goes back up when it stops. I have checked all the fuses that have to do with the HVAC.

I am at a loss.

I appreciate any feedback, or maybe new things to consider/check on. This is a total Hail Mary that someone has run into this before.
