Annoying Assumption that I've heard Multiple Times Over SOTM

Recently, multiple people on YouTube and in person that I've talked to have said that when Fazbear Entertainment Stole all of Edwin's work, they assumed he had created them all: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, plus the original Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. It was always clear to me that Edwin was a contractor who didn't make the characters and only turned the suits into animatronics.

Another point of assumption that I've heard is that people now think Afton was such a savage to not only take Edwin's work, but his house too... When you can see Edwin's house burning down in the Ending, that is most likely canon.

Edwin did make the suits into animatronics, but he did not make the characters.
