FWB emotionally attached or simply selfish?
I've been seeing this guy casually for 2 month, but maybe it's getting complicated. He knows I cared more initially than he did, yet he kept me close. I have been losing interest in him even as a FWB due to his behavior lately.
He's been possessive in subtle ways the past couple of sleep overs:
- He gets irritated when I tease him about other guys. Will say "not funny" "turn off"
- Comments on bruises on my body as if someone else caused them — and gets passive aggressive. "Damm who are you seeing?"
- One time, I wore fishnets and he literally ripped them off like he didn’t want me in them — it felt like frustration or jealousy.
- If I tell him I have to leave, he’ll pull me back into bed, act sad, say “let’s call off work,” or try to use sex to get me to stay. He's even gripped my crotch area to hold me for extra time.
- He makes comments like “tell your hoes you’re busy” if I am on my phone or “who dropped you off?” if I Uber to his place.
- I asked what time it was when we were finally going to bed and he asked "Why? you have somewhere else to be or what?"
He did most of this the night before he went to the lake with a group of friends including girls. Why does he give a fuck when he is doing whatever he wants? We are not committed.
We don't text during the week. Yet, when I back off or go quiet, he always texts sometimes vague check-ins like “Hi :)” or “I think I sleep better with your pillow” (I left one there because I hate his). But he doesn’t plan dates every week. We have seen movies where we hold hands, and he's taken me to watch him play golf.
I’m reserved and haven’t been with many people. He calls me “innocent,” and I think he likes the contrast between me and the other women he’s used to.
What is he doing? Is this no longer casual?
