I feel like I’m not Diamond Dynastying right…

I open packs and immediately sell the duplicates, I typically have it automatically set the best lineup. Am I supposed to play the low grade cards at all? When I’m not playing ranked, I like Conquest. Any other side games you might recommend? I am most curious if people do anything with low ranked cards and is there any reason to keep duplicates of the same players/items. Thanks!
