Input Needed! Potential Community Program for South Asians in BC

Hi everyone!

I volunteer with a South Asian-based outreach group here in BC, and I have the opportunity to help develop a new community program focused on adult learning and support specifically for South Asians. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what kinds of programs, workshops, or learning opportunities they’d like to see for South Asian adults in our community?

It could be along the lines of language classes, job skills, navigating healthcare, parenting, mental health, cultural spaces, etc. I’d love to hear your thoughts on any gaps you’ve noticed/if anything is missing that you feel would help the South Asian community?
