Getting future time based Automation events

I went down a rabbithole today trying to figure out a way to have a dashboard card display future, known automation events. It seems that it is near impossible as HA doesn’t expose this data. To me that seemed quite odd as it’s already in the automation itself, so why not allow that data to be read. But I also understand that home automation is a trigger based system.

So question to you guys before I delve too far into resolving this.. what percentage of your automations are time based triggers? Perhaps it’s not that useful to display these anyway?

Automation history can be easily fetched, which can be argued is more useful to know since many of these automations aren’t predicted when exactly they will happen, so it’s nice to know when they did happen.
