How card friendly is Ho Chi Minh City ?

Hey guys, I am visiting Hochiminch city for 7 days.

Couldn't figure out how much cash to take along.

I would just need money for food + grab + souvenirs/local shopping + tips

My hotels, flights, transfers and activities are all paid off.

I am already planning to take 100$ as cash and 300$ in my forex card. Should I take along more cash? How card-friendly is Ho chi Minh City ?
