Remembered something funny my kid used to do

Like most Americans rn, I’m filled with anxiety and despair on a daily basis this year. Life the last 2-3 months in particular has been rough. But I remembered something my almost 6 year old did when he was younger that made me die laughing. Hopefully this lightens everyone’s day just a little bit :)

His dad is tall, black and has his hair in locks. From ages 3-4, when he and I would be grocery shopping, clothes shopping etc. every tall black man with locks that we would walk past my son would ask me, loudly, if that was his dad. Lololol it was so embarrassing every time. It made most people laugh but I was always soooo embarrassed. And I am very much married and live with his dad he had seen his dad every day of his life, like why are you asking me this, kid?!? 😭😭
