Do I need a new phone?

I got my pixel 7 in December 2023 over the last week I've had almost every app crash it gets unreasonably hot even without a case on. I've lost my open Google tabs so many times. My Google messages app lags a lot when typing and doesn't like sending texts anymore a text will take anywhere between 30 seconds to 5 minutes to send even in areas I've had texts send almost instantly before.

Am I going crazy here?

Is it time for a new phone or is there something I can do to salvage this thing? I really don't feel like shelling out cash for a new one.
