My season 7 experience.

not that bad honestly from what I’ve been seeing on this sub!

the “heal meta” isn’t to hard to deal with but it can be a pain in the ass. I see more healing emitters than I do H+ infuser lights but the best thing I can do against healing emitters is throw them away or destroy them. Second, the sledgehammer nerfs; barely felt like anything happened. I played 2 tdm games with it both on Kyoto and Seoul and i had the most kills on my team. I was also running healing emitter, dome shield, and lockbolt.

Also circling back to the healing emitter, it still felt like I got killed when standing close it, but that was probably because I had about half health, and killing people in it wasn’t to big of a problem, I almost got a heavy standing next to it but there was another guy and I’m sure I would have gotten him if the other guy wasn’t there.

circling back on the sledge, there are gonna be things that I have to do when using it now: quick meleeing people. There were so many times where the guy had a sliver of health left and I died before I could kill him and I would say to myself “damn, if I quick-meleed him i would’ve won that.” So I think it’s a good learning experience for me.

but my biggest gripe with this season

NO MUSIC (specifically end of round music)

don’t get me wrong, the soundtrack is a BANGER. I love listening to cns_spectre. if only it had the same bpm as “it’s tv time!” From the new deltarune chapter, then I would’ve mixed them together. But no end of round music? Embark! This happened last season! You had the perfect setup for an end of round theme for season 6 with introducin on the ost. But there was nothing! And I find the same thing here! I would’ve been so cool to have the end of round theme be a mix between the pixelated and bit-crushed tunes of CNS with the precision and prestiness of vaiiya. But you just recycled the season 4 end of round theme!? I put my hopes to high.

other things: new map is cool, battle pass is cool, practice range battle box is cool.

overall: cool season!
