Bony thing in the place where wisdom tooth extracted

Hi. I got my upper left wisdom tooth removed 1 month ago. Followed all precautions. No infections but been feeling a bony thing or spike kinda in the extraction site. Been having excess sensitivity to cold food and water for 2 weeks now. Is it dry socket or just bone protruding. Should I see a dentist? Pls help. Sensivity is becoming unbearable on that part.
