Wanting to use a Peseta from Spain as part of a custom book printing
Location: California, United States.
I'm putting together special edition books of Don Quijote de la Mancha in both English and Spanish (two separate books). I see that there was a Peseta from Spain in 1951 that had him on the currency. After looking up the Peseta, it seems that it is no longer legal tender, supplanted by the Euro in 2002.
My question is: is it legal for me to include a card or print with the front and back of the Peseta de España as an insert in these books?
If not, is there a way to include these images, by marking them somehow (such as SPECIMEN)?
The book will be printed and sold in the United States.
