I read this somewhere

We do what we have to do today so the next generation can have whatever we didn't.

That always struck something in my heart that made me believe because I scape bottom of the barrel most my life trying to survive , doing things that run just outside of the law that the ones before me did the same so that people like me of like mind and heart might have a chance to live easier. To help the people around them. But everywhere so many people are worse off than me and I don't have it as bad as a lot of others.

I see that, and maybe I don't deserve what I've been seeking. But if not me than who. The path I see clearly. Time repeats itself. I don't want to make the mistakes that were made in the past and so far so good. I stayed true to my word. I'm still here. Still breathing.
