Power Tripped in one room

I was sitting in my room and the power went out, I thought, but I went out to check because the generator was not flicking on. Turns out it was only my room. I unplugged everything and flipped a few switches on the breaker. I only plugged my wifi router back in, turned on my lights, and my fan. I'm wondering is it safe to stay in or should I just leave the room, try to find a new spot for the router, and contact an electrician?
