Bf talks about ppl out in public…

AITAH?

My bf has a bad habit of talking about ppl when we are out & about & it drives me absolutely nuts bc he doesn’t do it subtly at all..or so he thinks. He swears his voice doesn’t carry but he has a deep voice & he always does it when we are not that far from the person or have just walked right past the person. I’ve mentioned it multiple times how I don’t like when he does that bc it’s so embarrassing..but here we are yet again bc of a comment he made about someone (he said he was complimenting on the person but it did sound like it at all) & we got into an argument about it bc at this point, I cannot hide my annoyance! He said I should easily be able to drop it since he apologized for doing it but to me it’s like dude, wtf?? AGAIN?? How hard is it to keep your comments to yourself when we are out in public!?? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve talked my fair shit but it’s definitely not around the person. Like why can’t he just give the subtle wide eye & THEN say something when we are away??? It’s really a problem to me. We have a son & I’m not saying I’m perfect but I def don’t want my son growing up thinking that’s okay! Now it’s the day before Father’s Day & I feel bad that we are arguing. I tried to just let it go but somehow it got brought back up again & here we are now, worse than before.
