what is the opposite feeling of loneliness

I think i can sense feeling of "hey im not the only one that happened to" (like when i read other people's stories) and maybe that is a form of solidarity, and for me that is the closest it's ever going to get. Because I don't get why anyone like me will not feel lonely just because another person makes shallow conversation with them. Not talking with me was not the problem. The problem was people keep going on like everything was not that bad. I think some of us cannot remember not being lonely.
