how come is china better than most democratic countries?

we out here accusing political parties of violating the constitution and "hurling savidhan aur loktantra khatre me hai" remarks to each other while non-democracies like china prosper unlike any other country and we still living like its 1980s.

and to be honest I marvel Iran a lot as well, it should have collapsed due to all the sanctions but still stands and its dictator rules with an iron fist, having mass scale approval of his people.
