How do y'all be dating??

I genuinely wonder how women be finding people. I mostly worry cause I'm 25 and never been in a relationship. My friends seem happy where they are and I pretty much wonder how they do it. I feel like I'm just gonna be stuck forever most of the time, but I'm also terrified of men. There's just so many creeps and stalkers and basically people who just don't respect boundaries. I've already had 'friends' that wound up being awful and I feel like there's just no hope at this point. Doesn't help that there's always the danger of literally being killed for saying no.

Is it where I live? Just most people on the internet? Should I just commit to the hermit life?
