Listen, I’m the most tolerant, pro left unity-guy around, but if I see ONE MORE post from somebody supposedly on the “left” defending the murder of civilians, I don’t care what civilians, Ukrainian, Russian, Israeli or Iranian I will make Pinochet look like a reasonable, open for discussion socialist!

KILLING CIVILIANS IS WRONG!

DEHUMANIZATION IS WRONG!

YOU ARE NOT A LEFTIST IF YOU SUPPORT THE MURDER OF PEOPLE BASED ON THEIR NATIONALITY!

I swear, people need to put down Das Kapital or whatever theory book makes you preach “revolutionary defeatism” or whatever other pseudo socialist NONSENSE, and think, just for a second about humanity, and then realize that no, I don’t want other innocent people to die, even if I think their views, or the actions of their government, are repugnant! This is BASIC leftism, at the core of communism and socialism, even deeper than class conflict or imperialism, is care for your fellow human beings. Marx was a HUMANIST, you should be to, because all this philosophy should seek to uplift your fellow man, not hurt them!
