I need more strength.. but what material?
I have a problem. I have a one gallon jug and I want to print a handle for it. There's several things on that on Thingiverse as it is Thermoflask handle compatible. I tried ABS with 50% infill, three wall loops and bricklaying algorithm but had shearing near the hinge. So what does the hivemind recommend? My nozzle max temp is 260ºC but is more comfortable with 255ºC: could I try some nylon material with full infill at those temperatures? Or persist with ABS? Or something else? It needs to take the forces associated with the ~3.8 kg weight of water and bottle. My current limitations: 260ºC hotend, 125ºC heatbed, brass nozzle. (Printing with unheated enclosure.)
