manager keeps txt outside of work

i have a manager that keeps texting me on my day off. like when he releases the schedule hes like "ohh the schedule is out". then next day he wants me to come on my days off when he already has said the schedule was already set.

not only that but if im at work and hes off, he calls us to see what we are doing or again about the schedule.its not just me but twds my coworkers as well.

i always make plans on my days off to be with my family so its annoying when he changes the schedule around and is txt us about it.

how would you handle this situation? should i put him on silent? he does have a micromanagent style. it makes the job intolarable
