has anyone tried an electric nail file?

one of my triggers is nail files. the texture, sounds and feel of having it used absolutely sets my misophonia off. the sounds especially go thru me and irritate me. they're unusable near me, however unfortunately due to the shape of my toenails my bf has been complaining (clipping is another trigger but i just firm it for hygiene reasons). Now im thinking maybe an electric nail file is a good substitute as i couldnt use glass or sapphire nail files due to my miso.

Has anyone tried it as a substitute? (sorry for the rambling im tired and i wanna get this post out before i forget)
