Anyone remember/owned the legendary 4790k and gtx 970 combo?

The 4790k and gtx 970 must be one of the most legendary combos of all time. I think it's that the prices were very reasonable and it performed really well.

Obviously the famous 3.5gb gddr5 issue was there but, if I remember correctly, very few games exceeded 3gb vram at the time - especially for 1080p which was the dominant resolution at the time.
