Capricorns will push you away if they feel like you are someone that don't have some type of experience that they are looking for because you have to understand that they represent all things established. This is why you see a lot of Capricorns dating older people. They see these older people as having experience with life where they can teach them something and show them something as well. Capricorns are naturally embedded with mature and advanced energy and they want to connect with people who can match or exceed that. They are not someone that is looking to build someone up, but they are looking for people who are already built up so when they feel like you are lacking this extremely, then they will push you away or become distant.

This can even translate to them really being attracted to someone that has their own business that's running and clearly successful as well because they feel like they can truly match that energy or they can feel like you will naturally match their energy in some type of way. If you're exceeding them, that's even better for them so they will definitely be attracted to that. Sometimes they can date older people in those older people may still not truly be what they are expecting as well.
