Sudden hair falling out

My hair keeps coming out so quickly and this has only started as of this last month, my partner thinks I should go to the doctor for it but I'm not sure what the doctor could even do for me. I'm wondering if its stress or hormone related because I've been on birth control for 6 months and I am an incredibly stressed person, there isn't a day that goes by that I am not stressed out for some reason. Any tips, recommendations, or suggestions would be very appreciated thank you so much 💛
