We did an MI ranking after watching TFR

Here is her review of every Mi movie

8# Mi2: Literally an early prototype of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moons, but we still got the best mask reveal scene, ever. Thandiwe Newton isn't that bad.

7# Mi3: I mean PSH is a great villain, and I like the story but I wasn't really intrigued by the action. Too much shaky cams, and John Musgrave pissed me off a little.

6# DR: MY QUEEN NOOOO. Aside from that, it's pretty good, it's only that I just like the others better. Exposition out the wazooo with an okay villain (Gabriel)

5# Mi: The Langley vault scene singlehandedly saved this from 7th spot. But I love the atmosphere they gave, that true spy espionage.

4# Fallout: I'm sorry but this is serverly overrated. Yes it gave us Henry Cavill arm reload and that HOLY SHIT A HELICOPTER CHASE, and the romance between Hunt and Faust, but it just feels like this whole movie is a bit rehashed. But that arm reload, c'mon now.

3# TFR: All that yapping in the first hour and what do we get? Mr. Milchick and that brief jumpscare during the submarine stunt sequence.
Cinema. Gabriel's arm and balls getting busted before dying is so damn satisfying. Still, too much talking and it didn't really justify that 3 hour runtime.

2# GP: It's Brad Bird man, the guy who directed Ratatouille and the Incredibles. What more can you want? And that ending scene hits harder than a sledgehammer. The Burj Khalifa scene is already better than the entirety of Mi3 and Mi2

1# RN: Opera scene, A400 scene, Underwater vault scene, Morocco car/motorcycle chase scene, foggy night in London, and that smart smart way of beating Lane. He's the only villain here that feels unstoppable. We also got Ilsa Faust, Ethan and Benji best friend vibes, and the iconic "Living Manifestation of Destiny" line.
Best Mi movie ever.
