Biblical view on illegal immigration?

I keep seeing Leviticus 19:33-34 get mass reposted to basically imply that the US government should open its borders and that deportation is wrong. To me, that seems very extreme and even dangerous. While I disagree with how this current administration is handling mass deportations, I don't think the solution is to open the borders up.

What's the biblical take on it?
