Moving to Costa Rica for 6 months with Toddler

Hi y’all! I’m a 29F with a 2-year-old toddler, and I’ve been seriously considering moving or long-term traveling in Costa Rica for 6 months (maybe longer). Her dad is fully supportive of us going abroad for a bit, which is a huge relief.

I work from home and can do my job remotely, so I’m hoping to find a place where I can balance work and toddler life. I’m mainly wondering what the experience is like for other single moms traveling with a toddler, especially navigating a new country without a car (we’d only rent one on weekends for trips or getaways).

Any tips on day-to-day life, toddler-friendly places, or walkable towns with easy access to essentials would be so appreciated!
