Is this a good retirement home for Franklin

I just slapped a smaller enclosure together using gauze and magnets. I'll have to post pics in comments if it will let me since it won't here. He's old and falls a lot, and I saw a comment in another post suggesting gauze. I fluffed up some sterile medical gauze to use and the bottom is layered in fluffed gauze. Is this good for a Life Alert spider? I used some ledges from his current enclosure and he's in his store cup right now.
